Psalm 101

Leader:  I will sing of loyalty and of justice. To you, O Lord, I will sing.

People: I will study the way that is blameless. When shall I attain it? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house.

Leader: I will not set before my eyes anything that is base. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.

People: Perverseness of heart shall be far from me. I will know nothing of evil.

Leader: I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, so that they may live with me.

People: No one who practices deceit shall remain in my house. No one who utters lies shall continue in my presence.  

O Lord God, You reign over all with justice and mercy, with love and forgiveness, with glory and honor. We confess that as we have cried out to You for justice to fall upon others, that we have sought mercy for ourselves. Help us to love others as You love us. Help us to forgive others as You forgive us. Fill us with a deeper love for You so we will live daily to bring You the glory and honor. Shine forth the light of Jesus through our lives, that others might be drawn to trust in Him. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and a desire that seeks to know You fully when we pray: “Our Father. . .”
