Psalm 106

Teaching the Truth in Love

Psalm 106

Leader:  Praise the Lord! O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.

People: Happy are those who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times.

Leader: Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people; help me when you deliver them; that I may see the prosperity of your chosen ones.

People: Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.

Leader:  Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.

People: And let all the people say, “Amen.” Praise the Lord!

Heavenly Father, You revealed Your glory, power, and wisdom to us in all You created. You wrote Your law upon our hearts and gave us the power to reason and discern right from wrong. Then, You spoke to us in Your word, the Holy Scriptures, that we might know the truth about You and how we should live. But Lord, we refused to do what we knew to do, and we also did what we knew not to do. Then, You sent Your Son, Jesus, to save us from our sins. So, for all these gifts and more, we praise You as we pray: “Our Father. . .”
