A Psalm and A Prayer
Psalm 145 b

L.G. Parkhurst, Jr.
Teaching the Truth in Love

Psalm 145 b

Leader: The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

People: The LORD is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.

Leader: All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your faithful shall bless you.

People: They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and tell of your power, to make known to all people your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

Leader: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

People: The LORD upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.

Heavenly Father, in many ways throughout history, and in our very own lives, You have demonstrated Your love and forgiveness; Your willingness to extend grace and mercy to Your people. We trust in You and in Your word. When sin and temptations discourage us, we look to You and Your willingness to lift us up and restore us. Fill us with Your Spirit and help us trust in You as we seek a variety of ways to share the Good News of Jesus Christ Who taught us to pray, “Our Father. . .”
