Psalm 150

Teaching the Truth in Love

Psalm 150

Leader: Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in his mighty firmament!

People: Praise him for his mighty deeds. Praise him according to his surpassing greatness!

Leader: Praise him with trumpet sound. Praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance. Praise him with strings and pipe!

People: Praise him with clanging cymbals. Praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

Heavenly Father, Lord God of the universe, we seek to praise You with all our heart. We set apart this time of our lives exclusively for You, to bow our hearts and minds before You in humble adoration. We set apart this place of worship as a sanctuary, even as we set apart our hearts as a sanctuary, for Your indwelling holy presence. We ask that You guide our thoughts and words as we praise You, that we might approach in expression sincere praises that You find worthy of Your surpassing greatness. We pray that someday soon everything that breathes will praise Your holy Name. Help us pray with happy hearts in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray, “Our Father. . .”
