Psalm 25 b

Leader: Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.

People: Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness’ sake, O Lord!

Leader: Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

People: All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his decrees.

Heavenly Father, we trust in Your mercy and steadfast love. You manifested Your deep love for us in Jesus Christ, Your Son. He came and lived in our midst. He died a sacrificial death in our behalf. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He prays for us today. You have forgiven and forgotten our sins. You teach us what is right; and by Your Spirit, You guide us and empower us to do Your will. Help us to humbly submit our lives to You, trusting that You always lead us in the ways of justice and mercy. Hear us as we pray with hearts of love the prayer our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, taught us to pray: “Our Father. . .”
