Psalm 34 a

Leader: I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

People: My soul makes its boast in the Lord. Let the humble hear and be glad.

Leader: O magnify the Lord with me. Let us exalt his name together.

People: I sought the Lord, and he answered me. He delivered me from all my fears.

Leader: Look to the Lord, and be radiant; so your face shall never be ashamed.

People: This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble.

Lord God, we praise You daily for all You do. We praise You for teaching us about yourself and how we can trust You with our lives day by day. We praise You for Your great faithfulness. We pray that You will receive true joy from our praises, and from our efforts to express our love for You through our service of You and others. Lord, we confess our need of You, of Your healing touch, of Your strength, of Your guidance and wisdom. Please fill us with Your Holy Spirit that we might always be faithful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray: “Our Father. . .”
