Lesson 2. The Omnipotence of Christ

You may begin your study on any lesson at any time and post questions for discussion, prayer requests, and answers to prayer at any time and we will respond to your posts and pray with and for you.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to impress upon your mind and heart what Christ wants you to learn about prayer from this lesson and how you can draw closer to Him and grow in His grace through Bible study and prayer.
New Ideas and Applications
Ideas. The disciples’ faith in Jesus Christ’s power enabled their boldness; therefore, there was nothing too great for Him to command or for them to undertake. I can count on the Lord’s mighty power. God’s promises in the Bible give me the courage to do what Christ has commanded in the Bible. Christ can use His power in my weakness to achieve His purposes.
Applications. As a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, I need to pray for the faith and the time and the place to serve Him, and I need to pray for the leading and power of the Holy Spirit to work in me as I serve Christ and help others. I need to pray for the sinners who have harmed my family and others, and not fret or worry about them. I need to pray for the Holy Spirit to help me act purely for the love of God.
New Topics for My Prayers
That God Almighty and Jesus Christ would rule over and overrule with their mighty power the evil deeds of those in high places of authority who work evil and persist in doing harm to the children of God.
Practice what Brother Andrew advised: “Confess my sins and repent of them so my sins will not come between Jesus Christ and me. Do all for the love of Jesus Christ.”
