Psalm 30

Leader: I will extol you, O Lord, for you did not let my foes rejoice over me. I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.

People: Sing praises to the Lord, and give thanks to his holy name. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Leader: By your favor, O Lord, you established me. To you, O Lord, I cried, and to the Lord I prayed.

People: Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me! O Lord, be my helper!

Leader: You have turned my mourning into dancing and have clothed me with joy.

Unison: My soul will praise you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever.

O God, our Guardian and Guide, we trust in You daily for life and strength to serve You with faith, hope, and love. We will praise You in the morning and throughout the day. We will praise You in the evening, and trust in You day and night. We depend on Your Word and precious promises as we pray in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, “Our Father. . .”
